Hope For The Warriors distributes 4,800 holiday food boxes to Fort Campbell military families

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (Dec. 4, 2024) –Together with the Armed Services YMCA, Gary Sinise Foundation, Food Lion, Frito Lay, Forward Air and United Through Reading, Hope For The Warriors distributed 4,800 food boxes to Fort Campbell military families today.

Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a foundation of stability, strength and community for post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families.

Four the fourth year, each box contained Food Lion macaroni & cheese, pot-style thin spaghetti, one-pound white rice, no salt added tomato sauce, no salt added corn, and no salt added green beans. In addition, children’s books and stuffed animals were distributed to military families for the holidays.

“In 2024, we at Hope For The Warriors have received our highest number of requests for services since our inception,” said Robin Kelleher, founder and CEO of Hope For The Warriors. “Military families are reaching out in record numbers for critical assistance, especially for housing and food. We’re honored to be here today with some amazing partner organizations and volunteers, to serve our community during the holiday season.”
