Hope For The Warriors recognizes the unwavering resilience and dedication of military spouses and caregivers.

Since 2006, our Spouse and Caregiver Scholarship Program has awarded more than $640,000 in scholarships to help military families thrive through education. Whether you’re taking your first class or pursuing an advanced degree, we’re with you every step of the way. Scholarships are available for accredited U.S. colleges, universities, and trade schools. Funds are paid directly to the institution to cover tuition, books, and required supplies.

Confirm Eligibility

Applicants must be the spouse or caregiver of a post-9/11 service member or veteran who has a combat-related injury, and/or a 100% permanent and total VA disability rating, including Individual Unemployability (IU).*

Connect to Apply

Connect to HOPE Services to complete an Intake application. Our Intake team will help you to confirm eligibility and assist you in requesting an invitation to apply for Military Spouse Caregiver Scholarship under one of the 5 distinct scholarship categories listed above.

Americorps Scholarship Database

This comprehensive, fully searchable Joint Services Scholarship Database for Military Dependents (children, spouses, descendants, relatives etc.) Active Duty, National Guard & Reserves of all branches, Veteran, and ROTC.

Fisher House Foundation

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital.

Folded Flag Foundation

The Folded Flag Foundation offers scholarships for eligible spouses or children of members of the U.S. military who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.

Hire Heroes USA

Hire Heroes helps veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses secure meaningful employment.

My Career Advancement Account Scholarship

The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses for the pursuit or maintenance (including continuing education courses) of a license, certification, or associate’s degree necessary to gain employment in an occupation or career field.

Since 2004, NMFA has awarded more than $10 million in scholarships to military spouses.

Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society

The NMCRS Education Assistance Program is designed to help eligible Navy and Marine Corps families pursue their academic goals by providing scholarships and interest-free loans.

Paralyzed Veterans of America

Paralyzed Veterans of America offers scholarships to eligible PVA members and spouses who are dependent (as defined by the IRS) on the member for principal support.

Pat Tillman Foundation

The Pat Tillman Scholar Program provides educational scholarships and leadership development for active-duty service members, veterans, and spouses.

Purple Heart Scholarship Program

The Purple Heart Scholarship Program is a competitive program that awards scholarships to Purple Heart recipients and their spouses, children, and grandchildren each year.

Salute to Spouses Scholarship

Bryant & Stratton College offers a Salute to Spouses Scholarship; spouses of active-duty military personnel are eligible to receive $6,000 towards an online degree.
