SPRINGFIELD, Va. (August 21, 2025) – Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) recently received a community partnership grant community partnership grant from Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). This marks the fifth consecutive year Hope For The Warriors has been awarded this grant to support its critical needs program funding for one year.

Founded in 2006, HOPE delivers unparalleled services that uplift individuals and their families as they navigate the complexities of military life. Committed to fostering resilience and a sense of purpose, HOPE takes a whole-person approach, recognizing multiple facets of life impact the well-being of the veteran, service member, and military famil, from critical needs assistance to career and financial coaching to forging community connections through physical activity and caring for mental health and offering peer support.

Hope For The Warriors’ Critical Needs program assists service members, veterans and their families with meeting short-term needs when delays in disability claims processing, loss of income, homelessness, need for increased care due to injury progression, and unexpected expenses create financial burdens.

“Our Critical Needs program is at the heart of our mission to stand beside the post-9/11 military community,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO of Hope For The Warriors. “Over the years, this program has expanded to address the urgent challenges the military community faces—whether it’s financial hardship, housing instability, or increased care needs. “The continued support of this grant helps ensure we can provide these vital resources, reinforcing the meaningful and lasting difference HOPE makes in strengthening the resilience of veterans, service members, and their families.”

Since 2012, WWP has committed almost $436 million to 221 military and veteran organizations that help wounded veterans and families across the country, like Hope For The Warriors. These partnerships expand the resources available to America’s injured veterans and help ensure they and their families thrive long-term. WWP supports programs and services that enhance overall wellness, reduce suicide risks, and support high-need populations, including mental and brain health, special operations forces, caregivers, and Hidden Helpers.
