Join us in a virtual round of applause for our February Volunteer of the Month Clint Myatt, USMC (Ret).

As an organization, we strive and encourage those we support to pay forward the HOPE they received. The Myatt family experienced firsthand the impact of the Military Child Initiative and were excited to volunteer and support their fellow military families.

HOPE’s Military Child Initiative (MCI) was designed to identify needs, fill gaps and provide structure and stability for military children and the overall family unit. The MCI program specifically focuses on the health & wellness of the military child, particularly during times of readjustment and transition.

When summer ended, and it was time for kids to return to school, Clint and his daughter helped HOPE’s North Carolina staff create back-to-school kits. The backpacks were filled with family resources and school supplies for more than 200 military children who attend Department of Defense Education Agency (DODEA) schools at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Bravo, Myatt Family! Thank you for giving your time to support HOPE and your fellow military families!
