This month we are celebrating the contributions of Team Hope For The Warriors’ coach Morgon Latimore—our April Volunteer of the Month.

When United States Marine Corps Master Sergeant Coach Morgon isn’t motivating his Marines, he is helping our Team Hope For The Warriors members achieve their maximum potential by helping them shape their minds, bodies and spirits to take on big races like the TCS NYC Marathon, United Airlines NYC Half-Marathon, Tobacco Road Marathon and more!

For nearly two years, Coach Morgon, a tri-athlete himself, has been sharing his time and talents with Hope For The Warriors. HOPE’s Irina Watkins, Community and Peer to Peer Manager, who is also an accomplished collegiate runner and former member of Finland’s National Track & Field Team, shares, “Coach Morgon has been an amazing motivator, coach and supporter for Hope For The Warriors athletes. He has shown to them how important being active is as far as mental and physical health is concerned, and how sports can keep us all connected.”

A tremendous thank you to Coach Morgon for being a source of motivation for our Team Hope For The Warriors athletes and for his unwavering dedication to his fellow veterans and military families.
