SPRINGFIELD, Va. – For over 13 years, Hope For The Warriors has been dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families. Each year under the leadership of trusted board members, the national nonprofit aims to provide support through a variety of programs focused on clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition.
Kevin Schwartz recently joined the seven-member Hope For The Warriors board council. Schwartz is the chief executive officer and a founding partner of Paine Schwartz Partners, a private equity firm focused exclusively on investment opportunities in the fast-growing, dynamic global food and agribusiness sectors.

Prior to co-founding Paine Schwartz Partners in 2006, Schwartz was a managing director at the Predecessor Firm, which he joined in 2002. Schwartz also worked for the private equity firms Fremont Partners, where he assisted with the management of approximately $1.7 billion of funds, and American Industrial Partners, which managed approximately $1 billion of funds. He began his professional career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the investment banking division focusing on financial analysis of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, public and private financings and other corporate transactions.
In addition, Schwartz serves on the boards of Advanced Agrilytics, FoodChain ID, Lyons Magnus, SNFL Group, Verdesian Life Sciences, and Wawona Packing. Previously, he served on the boards of Advanta, AgBiTech, Costa Group, Icicle Seafoods, Seminis, Sunrise Growers, and Verisem. Schwartz is a member of the Rush Associates board at the Rush University Medical Center.
