National Military Nonprofit Co-founder and CEO to Speak April 20

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (April 16, 2021) – Hope For The Warriors Co-Founder and CEO Robin Kelleher will kick off the April 20th National Security Pitch Day event addressing attendees of the 2021 Cyber, Land, Air, Sea and Space Symposium (C.L.A.S.S.).

Running through the month of April, this event is one of four events making up the 2021 C.L.A.S.S. Symposium presented by the America’s Future Series (AFS).

Based in Dallas, the AFS is a non-political national speaker’s series focused on issues that impact U.S. global competitiveness. It has brought together national leaders to collaborate and focus on critical issues facing America since 2010.

Kelleher will speak on what inspired and empowered her to co-found Hope For The Warriors in 2006 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, in North Carolina, with other military families who witnessed, firsthand, the effects of war on their families and community.

She’ll also touch on how the national military nonprofit has grown and evolved over the past 15 years, including during a pandemic, while serving military families.

“Anytime we have the opportunity to share more about HOPE’s mission and services with any audience, we’re excited,” said Kelleher. “To be selected to participate in America’s Future Series is a real honor. As we’re dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families, we hope those in attendance of the symposium will feel compelled to join us in this mission.”

What began as post-combat bedside care and support, has evolved to a national organization that has adapted to ongoing changes within the military community. The nonprofit’s goals have been to stay the course with our country’s post-9/11 veteran population as physical wounds healed, but emotional wounds still need care.

Since its inception, Hope For The Warriors has served more than 36,000 service members, veterans and military families through a comprehensive approach to well-being focusing on clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition.

Other dates and events in the 2021 C.L.A.S.S. Symposium include:

  • April 6 and 7, Space Innovation Summit
  • April 13, Cyber Security Summit
  • April 20, National Security Pitch Day
  • April 27 and 28, Defense Innovation Summit

Registration for all four events is $50.
