Over the last decade, we saw an alarming increase in poor mental health statistics both in the military and civilian communities. On average, 1 in 5 Americans faced a mental health issue. Suicide increased by 33% and now ranks as the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. and 2nd leading among those ages 10-34.
Within the military ranks, 30% of active duty service members who served since 2001 have a mental health condition requiring treatment. In 2018, the DOD reported the highest number of suicides since 2001 with 325 active duty deaths in a single year.
Mental health impacts our thoughts, emotions and behaviors. It impacts productivity, is crucial to maintaining healthy relationships and so much more.

Resilient Warrior & Resilient Family
Resilient Warrior and Resilient Family go hand-in-hand. These six-week long courses teach veterans, service members and military families how to lower the effect of stress through mind-body techniques and skill-building exercises. The program has a long-term goal of helping one positively navigate and cope with PTSD symptoms, stress and anxiety triggers to improve mood, well-being and physical health.
Family Wellness Programming
From family wellness events, to caregiver support services, to military children initiatives, both in-person and virtual, Hope For The Warriors recognizes that wrap-around support of the entire military family is critically important to the recovery and overall well-being of the entire family unit.
Hope For The Warriors Health & Wellness programs provide clinical support to not only veterans but also to caregivers, spouses and families. Our programs offer a holistic, person-centered approach in addressing the physical, psychological, social and environmental needs of the service member, their family and families of the Fallen.
