Programs for Veterans, Service Members and Military Families Fueled by Donation
RICHARDSON, Texas (Jan. 2, 2018) – Avnet raised $15,000 through its annual Driving For Heroes golf event benefiting Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families.
Avnet is one of the world’s largest distributors of electronic components and embedded solutions serving customers around the world in more than 125 countries.
For the third year in a row, the Richardson-based Avnet office hosted its Driving For Heroes golf event inviting its customers and suppliers to join them in support of military members. In total, the annual event has raised more than $60,000 to support veterans, service members and military families through Hope For The Warriors.

Celebrating 11 years of service, Hope For The Warriors assists veterans, service members and military families with a variety of programming including transition services, clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and community development and engagement.
