HOUSTON, Texas – Prior to Christmas, Forward Air and Hope For The Warriors delivered Christmas presents to a local military family through the Hope For The Warriors Holiday Giving Initiative.

Hope For The Warriors Holiday Giving Initiative is a national program open to post-9/11 combat wounded or Gold Star military families that are struggling financially during the holidays. Upon referral from the Hope For The Warriors Critical Care team, families are asked to complete a wish list for each child under the age of 18. The wish lists are then provided to interested donors to fulfill.

Forward Air and its staff collected presents for a U.S. Marine family of four with children ages 2 and 10.

Since 2012 over 1,240 children have been impacted by the Hope For The Warriors Holiday Giving Initiative.

Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit which assists veterans, service members and military families with a variety of programming including clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition services.
