Race and Course Details
There is a common start/finish line for all runners. The races will begin with a staggered start for adaptive athletes followed by the 10 Mile, 5K then 1st Mile. Waves may not take place; this depends on attendance.
Make sure your bib is pinned to the outside of your clothing. It must be worn on the front side of the runner and remain visible when starting/finishing the race.
Maintain a careful pace at the start and be mindful of other runners, strollers, chariots and adaptive cyclists. Children 10 and under should always be accompanied by an adult. Participants with strollers and small children must line up in the back of their wave for safety.
The routes are well-marked, look for colored arrow signs and road markings that correspond with your bib color. We encourage all participants to check our social media sites for the course map or take a photo of the ones displayed onsite at race day.
If you need assistance during the run, let your closest water station or course marshal know or look for police vehicles for help. If emergency assistance along the course is needed, dial 911. Please be mindful of other runners and possible vehicles. The local police department will provide traffic control on the course. Run safely and run aware.
We welcome individuals, youth groups, organizations, companies, or any with a desire to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in service to volunteer at our Run For The Warriors races!
