After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, her devotion to serving her country never ended, she just took on a new mission.
Dana Abudayeh is a mother, veteran, wife, caregiver who was honored in 2017 with a Vigiano Hope and Courage Award. During the month of June, we are pleased to honor her as our Volunteer of the Month.
“God gave me the heart of a servant and I find so much joy in helping others,” said Abudeyah. “I am beyond blessed in life, and it’s my time to give back.”
Abudayeh is a strong supporter of Hope For The Warrior’s mission and frequently volunteers at events throughout the year. During the 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Reunion, she coordinated and organized the check-in process, and kept running logs of product sales and items received. This not only helped the staff run the event effectively, but it contributed to the reunion running seamlessly.
Abudayeh has a strong work ethic and a positive demeanor, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is a full-time caregiver, a supportive wife, and active in her community, especially at her church, and Hope For The Warrior’s is grateful for her time spent volunteering with us.
Thank you, Dana, for all your work, and your continuous support of the military community. Your passion for helping others is inspiring, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us restore HOPE.
