New Jersey event draws support for veterans, service members and military families
FARMINGDALE, N.J. (May 1, 2017) – In conjunction with Fleet Week, the 9th Annual Eagle Oaks Honor Day will be held at Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale, New Jersey, May 25. All proceeds from the event will benefit Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families.
The day-long event begins at 9 a.m. with soldiers from the Central Jersey Recruiting Company Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion showcasing tanks and trucks, while the Army’s STEAM offers a number activities for local school children. The 9th Annual Eagle Oaks Honor Day then offers lunch at 11 a.m., followed by the golf tournament at 11:30 a.m.
A VIP reception and awards presentation begins at 5 p.m., and concludes with the Honor Day Dinner Banquet at 6 p.m.
Individual, non-member registration for golf and dinner is $550. Individual, Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club member registration is $450. Individual tickets for the dinner banquet only are $175. Registration for the event ends May 15.
The 2017 Eagle Oaks Honor Day will host more than 50 active-duty Marines from the II Marine Expeditionary Force for a day of leisure and golf on a championship golf course. The Marines will receive a hosted lunch, a golf tournament and dinner at the country club.

Last’s year’s event brought more than 300 club members and 200 Marines to enjoy a day of golfing and a banquet dinner, raising almost $150,000 Hope For The Warriors.
Since 2008, Eagle Oaks Honor Day has raised more than $550,000 for Hope For The Warriors.
