Programs for Veterans, Service Members and Military Families Fueled by Donation
SPRINGFIELD, Va. (Dec. 14, 2021) – Liberty Mutual Insurance recently donated $200,000 to Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families.
In response to the ending of the over 20 year conflict in Afghanistan, Liberty Mutual’s donation will be used to fund a variety of programs through Hope For The Warriors, focusing on clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition services.
This donation is part of Liberty Mutual’s continued commitment to the military community, as well as to recognize the impact the withdrawal from Afghanistan has had on military personnel. As a global organization, Liberty Mutual is dedicated to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace for military, veteran and ally communities through strong internal networks and benefits that help them build meaningful careers. The company also has a variety of external partnerships to empower and support the military community at large.
“Hope For The Warriors started 15 years ago in response to the conflict in Afghanistan and the long lasting effects to our service members and their families,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of the nonprofit organization. “With this generous contribution to Hope For The Warriors, Liberty Mutual is truly impacting the well-being of the many veterans, service members and families who have bravely served and sacrificed for our country in the Afghanistan conflict and beyond. We deeply appreciate Liberty Mutual’s generosity and support.”
