SPRINGFIELD, Va. (Jan. 11, 2022) –For over 15 years, Hope For The Warriors has been dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families. Each year under the leadership of trusted board members, the national nonprofit aims to provide support through a variety of programs focused on clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition.
Javier La Fianza, founder and CEO of Valiente Philanthropic Consulting, recently joined the eight-member Hope For The Warriors board council.
La Fianza’s Valiente Philanthropic Consulting, aims to create greater philanthropic impacts for nonprofit organizations, corporate foundations, and high net worth individuals.
He has worked within philanthropy for over 30 years, which includes 20 years as a CEO or COO, leading organizations experiencing rapid growth or in turnaround situations; circumstances where innovative and collaborative leadership were essential to generating results.
Working worldwide in Canada, China, Ireland, Iraq, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, Turkey and Uganda, La Fianza has worked to develop, grow, and teach leadership programs.
For several years, he authored a leadership column for the Pacific Coast Business Times, focusing on leadership, innovation, and team development and is working on a book on innovative philanthropy and philanthropists.
“As a military nonprofit, it’s not only important to have committed board council members with a military connection but it’s vital to have folks with longstanding careers in the nonprofit realm as well,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors. “We’re excited to extend our relationship with Javier as a member of our board council and trusted advisor.”
La Fianza has served on numerous local, state, and national boards. He and his wife reside in Thousand Oaks, Calif. and enjoy traveling.
