Hope For The Warriors is honored to announce Brian Snead as our January Volunteer of the Month!

Brian, Senior Account Manager for Frito-Lay, has been part of the HOPE family since 2011 when he was introduced to the organization by long-time HOPE family member Joe Stock, former Director of Operations for Food Lion and Volunteer of the Month recipient.

Brian has played a key role in planning and coordinating several events to help serve the warrior community. Most recently, in December 2021, he initiated a food distribution drive in Kentucky at Fort Campbell to help military families impacted by the devastating tornadoes that struck the region earlier that month. Brian’s team at Frito-Lay worked with HOPE partners like Food Lion, Forward Air, The Armed Services YMCA, and Navy Federal Credit Union to generously donate 3,600 boxes filled with food and $2,000 in Food Lion gift cards to families who were in need. Take a moment to view this video and photo album; both highlight the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who made this all happen.

HOPE President/CEO Robin Kelleher nominated Brian for this honor.

“Brian is a man of his word. HOPE can count on him to not only come up with wonderful ideas, but then he backs them up with planning and resources,” Robin said. “We are fortunate to call him a friend of HOPE. His dedication to providing direct support and making a positive impact on our country’s military families is inspiring.”

Described as a caring and loyal individual by those who know him best, Brian prioritizes putting others first and lends a helping hand whenever he can. He consistently chooses to support the mission of HOPE, so we can continue to provide programs and services to the warrior community.

Thank you, Brian, for all you do and for embodying the values of HOPE and leading by example. We are proud to call you a part of the HOPE family and cannot thank you enough for the support you show to the military community!
