Double HOPE this November and honor a Veteran!
This November we take the time to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. Hope For The Warriors® and its partners are providing ways for you to say THANK YOU to the men and women who so bravely served our country.
You can donate today, double the impact of your gift, and honor a veteran on our Wall of Honor by clicking below.
Ticie and Tom Rhodes established the John Stewart Morton, Jr. Gift Matching Challenge to honor Ticie’s father, a World War II veteran. The Rhodes family challenges friends of Hope For The Warriors with a 1:1 match for donations made in the month of November.
Semper Cool is also returning to the match challenge this year. Semper Cool author Barry Fixler is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968 and fought on Hill 861-A during the legendary Siege of Khe Sanh.
Together, in their multi-generational commitment to support today’s combat veterans, they will match every donation up to $30,000, doubling the impact of November gifts to $60,000!
Proceeds from the John Stewart Morton, Jr. Fund will support Hope For The Warriors Military Unit Reunion programming, allowing veterans and Gold Star Families to reconnect, reminisce, build HOPE and encouragement, and memorialize those lost from their units.
Funding from Semper Cool will focus on providing direct assistance to the men and women who have been severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
