Double HOPE this November and honor a Veteran!

This November we take the time to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. Hope For The Warriors® and its partners are providing ways for you to say THANK YOU to the men and women who so bravely served our country.

You can donate today, double the impact of your gift, and honor a veteran on our Wall of Honor by clicking below.

Ticie and Tom Rhodes established the John Stewart Morton, Jr. Gift Matching Challenge to honor Ticie’s father, a World War II veteran. The Rhodes family challenges friends of Hope For The Warriors with a 1:1 match for donations made in the month of November.

Semper Cool Logo Semper Cool is also returning to the match challenge this year. Semper Cool author Barry Fixler is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968 and fought on Hill 861-A during the legendary Siege of Khe Sanh.

Together, in their multi-generational commitment to support today’s combat veterans, they will match every donation up to $30,000, doubling the impact of November gifts to $60,000!

Proceeds from the John Stewart Morton, Jr. Fund will support Hope For The Warriors Military Unit Reunion programming, allowing veterans and Gold Star Families to reconnect, reminisce, build HOPE and encouragement, and memorialize those lost from their units.

Funding from Semper Cool will focus on providing direct assistance to the men and women who have been severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Our Partners

Hope For The Warriors is blessed with wonderful partners who are also honoring our veterans in different ways – offering you a perfect way to get involved in your local community.

  • Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys, and Winn-Dixie stores, is launching their Veterans Day Campaign in support of Hope For The Warriors.  Now through November 7, Southeastern Grocers will donate $1 to Hope For The Warriors for each premium dozen rose bunch sold.
  • During the entire month of November, Casey’s General Store is offering a special “Dog Tag” Promotion to raise funds and awareness for service members and military families through Hope For The Warriors. For only $1, Casey’s customers can do their part to support the growing needs of today’s military. All proceeds will benefit Hope For The Warriors.
  • Visit your local Hy-Vee store this November and participate in the Hy-Vee Homefront Round Up. The Round Up program allows customers to round up their grocery bill to the nearest dollar— or any amount — with the proceeds going to support designated Hy-Vee Homefront organizations, including Hope For The Warriors. Hy-Vee is proud to partner with their customers by matching customer donations during the days surrounding Veterans Day, up to $100,000. Shop and round up your grocery bill at your local Hy-Vee store!
  • Food Lion will partner with Hope For The Warriors this Veterans Day to distribute backpacks to military children and stock pantries for local families, thanks to funds raised through the October 2017 Food Lion Feeds campaign.
