At Hope For The Warriors, your safety is our top priority, especially with the ongoing impact of COVID-19. We encourage event participants to follow the CDC’s safety guidelines, as well as state and local guidelines concerning COVID. Let’s stay safe and protect others as we gather to support HOPE!
That’s why Hope For The Warriors means so much to me and my husband. It not only made it possible for me to study art, it gave me a safe place to share my experience with others going through something similar. It even helped me understand what my husband and I need to care for ourselves and each other.

Join us at the 13th Annual OORAH VS. HOORAH Fishing Battle hosted by Dr. Weisler. This event pits 15 Marines vs. 15 Soldiers in a deep sea fishing battle for bragging rights over the biggest catch, while promoting camaraderie and showcasing the benefits of fishing as an outlet to our active duty military.
Thursday evening, the fishermen will meet for dinner, dessert and short remarks at the Bridge Tender Marina. Friday they will depart from Carolina Beach for a full day fishing trip, ending in an awards dinner on the docks.
Throughout this 2-month period, snacks and HOPE literature will be housed at the Bulldog Lounge. Military Relations staff from the HOPE team will have the opportunity to conduct outreach to veterans in the lounge.
