At Hope For The Warriors, your safety is our top priority, especially with the ongoing impact of COVID-19. We encourage event participants to follow the CDC’s safety guidelines, as well as state and local guidelines concerning COVID. Let’s stay safe and protect others as we gather to support HOPE!
That’s why Hope For The Warriors means so much to me and my husband. It not only made it possible for me to study art, it gave me a safe place to share my experience with others going through something similar. It even helped me understand what my husband and I need to care for ourselves and each other.

The Allscripts Tobacco Road Full Marathon features over 20 miles of the American Tobacco Trail (ATT). The rest of the course is flat and fast with a downhill finish. Up to 20 percent (in 2017; 15 percent in 2021) of our runners qualify for the legendary Boston Marathon! Less experienced runners benefit too as the fast, flat, energy-absorbing course and ideal temperatures averaging in the 40s and 50s Fahrenheit make it a great venue for your next personal record.
Pain Schwartz Partners will team up with Spartan for their second annual race on Governors Island in support of HOPE. Spartan will set up and host a mini-course of obstacles in conjunction with both a 5 and 10K.
For the 16th year in a row Hope For The Warriors will be hosting a 5k road race as part of the Suffolk County Veteran Run Series. The 5k will be hosted at Belmont State Park, and Elite Feats will be our race director. Participants can be civilians, veterans of all eras, spouses, Gold Star Families and Families of the Fallen. The race will look to connect the community to our military community and showcase the support system there. Top Finisher awards for male and female for places 1-3 as well as custom race tee shirts will be provided.
