LaVoncia Peterson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. She earned her Master of Social Work from East Carolina University.

Through her education and employment experiences, LaVoncia has acquired proficient clinical level experience in the mental health and substance abuse disciplines.

She has nearly a decade of experience working with the cognitive dynamics of trauma, military and military families, domestic violence, as well as children, teens, and adults.

Through her work, she has developed interpersonal and clinical skills using psychoeducation and solution-based theoretical approaches. LaVoncia is able to be objective, while being impartial, emphatic and compassionate because of her professional, educational and volunteer experiences.

LaVoncia is a wife and mother of two. She enjoys reading, going to the beach and playing with her 13 year old America Staffordshire Terrier.
