Jenny-BusbyJenny Busby, LCSW, is a Clinician at the Cohen Clinic, where she works with children, teenagers, and adults, serving the entire military community. With nearly 3 years of professional experience, Jenny previously worked as a school-based therapist at Pride in NC, concentrating on children in Onslow County schools aged 5-18. Her earlier experiences include serving as a family-centered therapist and contributing to a domestic violence shelter during her internship in Texas.

Jenny completed her bachelor’s in social work from UNCW in 2018 and earned a master’s in social work from Walden University in 2020. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, crisis intervention, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Working at the Cohen Clinic resonates with her for multiple reasons. She is a military family member and her dad was in the Marine Corps for 17 years and retired in Jacksonville, NC. When starting her graduate degree, she went for a concentration in military populations before finding her passion in working with kids.

In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her three spoiled puppies, who occupy most of her free time. Additionally, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and indulging in the occasional nap.
