The participating military members represented all five branches, spanning from active-duty to Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom veterans, and operations in between bringing home 49 yellowfin tuna weighing around 1,000 pounds in total.

“We’ve been organizing this fishing event for the past three years and this trip was one of the best fishing days we’ve seen,” said California Waterfowl Veteran Hunt Coordinator Mike Peeters. “The Yellowfin Tuna were almost jumping in the boat, literally, and Captain Fred Huber and the crew of the Daily Double really put us on the fish.”
