MILBROOK, N.Y. (April 19, 2017) – Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Hope For The Warriors Sporting Clay Shoot scheduled for May 19 at Orvis Sandanona, Millbrook, NY. This 6th Annual Clay Shoot is held to honor our nation’s heroes.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for post-9/11 service members and military families.
Orvis Sandanona is the nation’s oldest permitted shotgun club, and is consistently ranked among the very best shooting grounds with regularly changing targets.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with breakfast and registration. Shooting begins at 10 a.m. with lunch and an auction at 2 p.m. Tickets are $200 and include sporting clays (round of 100, including four boxes of shells), a golf cart, breakfast and lunch. Gun rentals are available.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, including sponsoring a service member’s participation.
Through sports and recreation events like the sporting clay shoot, Hope For The Warriors builds a community that embraces the warrior athlete, supporting their rehabilitation and mental health.
“We’re excited to be back in New York for this annual event at such a prestigious shooting facility,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors. “Each year, it’s an honor to host veterans at this event, connecting them with other veterans and military supporters in the New York region.”
Since 2012, the Hope For The Warriors Clay Shoot has raised more than $130,000 benefiting Hope For The Warriors and its programs.
