For the past 10 years, we’ve been proud to partner with Casey’s to help raise money and awareness for our programs and services.
Ten years ago, Bob Myers, then CEO of Casey’s, asked his colleague Jay Soupene to research military and veteran nonprofit organizations to be part of their fundraising efforts. Jay, who now serves as the Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence at Casey’s, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who served as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. In his research, he found HOPE and contacted Robin. After a 2-hour phone call, our partnership with Casey’s was sealed.
Since then, Bob Myers served on our Board of Directors and when he retired, Jay took his place on our Board. Over the past 10 years, we’ve been a beneficiary of their annual November Round-Up campaign, where shoppers have the option to round up their purchase at the register and donate the extra change. Thanks to Casey’s and their thousands of loyal shoppers, we’re proud to have raised over $7 million in donations through our partnership.
Casey’s, here’s to an incredible 10 years of friendship and to many more!
If you’re in the Midwest, don’t forget to stop by your local Casey’s location and round up at the register!
