New York, (Oct. 24, 2023) – Hosted by Paine Schwartz Partners, a global leader in sustainable food chain investing, the 2nd Annual No Obstacles: A Race For The Warriors Spartan Race recently raised $735,000 for Hope For The Warriors.
Taking place on Governors Island, approximately 240 participants completed the event featuring a memorial run and a custom Spartan Race which included a herc hoist, a seven-foot wall and more on the obstacle course.
Proceeds from the event support the national nonprofit Hope For The Warriors, through a variety of support programs focused on providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and social support that builds community.
“In two short years, the No Obstacles: A Race For The Warriors Spartan Race has brought in over a million dollars,” shared Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO for Hope For The Warriors. “This type of support is lifechanging for military families that we serve through our programs at HOPE. Since welcoming Kevin Schwartz to our board council three years ago he and his fellow Paine Schwartz Partners colleagues have moved mountains with their support for HOPE and are truly making a difference in the lives of military families across the U.S.”
Since 2022, No Obstacles: A Race For The Warriors Spartan Race has raised over $1.2 million for Hope For The Warriors and its programs.
“We are humbled and honored to support HOPE, which under Robin’s incredible leadership has continued to deliver real world life-changing support for military veterans and their families,” said Kevin Schwartz, chief executive officer and managing partner of Paine Schwartz Partners. “There is a huge unmet need for this kind of support, and we greatly appreciate the contributions and participation of our families, friends and sponsors in No Obstacles: A Race for the Warriors. We are already working on next year’s event with the goal to make it bigger, better and deliver more impact for veterans and their families.”
