Convenience store’s donation from “dog tag” sales to benefit military families

WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ (May 3, 2016)–QuickChek customers and employees will have the opportunity to demonstrate great support for post-9/11 military families through its $1 “dog tag” promotion. The New Jersey-based fresh convenience store chain will donate sales from the in-store promotion to Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family, and hope to our service members and military families.

For the third year, QuickChek customers are invited to purchase $1 “dog tags” in support of military families. Each dog tag purchased can be signed and posted on the walls of QuickChek stores to show support of our nation’s heroes. The in-store promotion will last from May 7-June 4.

QuickChek is a privately held, family-owned firm, operating 142 stores throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. QuickChek’s mission is to be a great place to work, a great place to shop and a great place to invest. All strategies are grounded in that mission and guided by its core values.

“We’re pleased to honor and support our service members and their families who give so much of themselves,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. Durling’s family-owned company has raised millions of dollars to support a variety of causes benefiting children, families and veterans.
