The 5th Annual Run For The Warriors® was a tremendous success. We want to thank all of the sponsors,
volunteers and the city and military leadership for their continued support of this annual event in Eastern NC.
Approximately 1800 wheelers/runners/walkers participated in the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K and inaugural half marathon to honor the sacrifices
of all wounded service members, their familes and the failes of the Fallen. The proceeds form this event and all Run FOr The Warriors®
events will go to directly support our nation's heroes.

The Run For The Warriors® is a unique event dedicated to the men
and women wounded in the global war on terror and their families. It is an honorary celebration of their strength. By uniting the entire community, military and civilian alike, this event embraces wounded
warriors and their families in the shared belief that there is hope beyond recovery. Racing venues are offered in a 1/2 marathon, 10k, 5K and 1
mile run.
