A special guest for this year's race was LCpl Colin Smith, a 2/8 Camp Lejeune Marine when he was hit by a sniper in 2006. Colin reunited at this year's event with the Corpsman that saved his life. See the story......

The Run For The Warriors™ is a unique event dedicated to the men and women wounded in the global war on terror and their families. It is an honorary celebration of their strength. By uniting the entire community, military and civilian alike, this event embraces Wounded Warriors and their families in the shared belief that there is hope beyond recovery. Racing venues are offered in a 10k, 5K and 1 mile run.
